Pastor Scott

Pastor Scott Peterson

On July 24, 2005, we welcomed the Rev. Scott Peterson to our pulpit as our pastor.

A word from Scott.  Here at Cooper Mountain Presbyterian Fellowship, we believe that there is hope for individuals, families, and the world. We believe that Jesus Christ has called us to live a better way: a way of love, peace, and justice. We believe that this can only happen when we come out of our isolation and engage each other and the world with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. We do this when we gather for worship; join small groups for fellowship, prayer, and learning; come together to share meals; play and laugh together; deal openly with our differences; and reach out in service to those in need. We believe that when we do this that we experience the healing power of God in our midst.

We are all imperfect and ordinary people on a journey with Christ. Together we laugh and cry, play and pray, worship and work, and study the life-giving words of the Bible. Won't you join us on this journey? We would love to include another ordinary person who seeks a better way than the one the world has to offer.

Come and join us on the journey.
